At Hourglass Records we are fast becoming the South Sound’s Premier Independent Record Label! We are new, innovative and on our way to joining the next generation of music makers, sellers, buyers and listeners in the world of digital media! Our Record Label is designed “For the Artist” we are all musicians and we work together with our artists to create the best overall outcome … “We” being the artists and the management are the heart “The core” of the company. We have truly created a divine partnership! … So here are the Hourglass Records Artists …

Andy Shofner    Contemporary Country = Andy, whether solo or supported by a full band is captivating with his rich country vocals and songs about life. With looks, talent, and desire when Andy’s CD hits the streets of Nashville he’ll soon become a household name
 
The Barfield Band    This band performs songs with a traditional folk/rock feel akin to the Beatles crossed with Willie Dixon and old country blues. They will soon deliver a new album of melodic and controversial tunes. This is timeless music that comes from the heart and whether performed solo acoustic or with a full live band, the feeling is expressed through the seasoned voice of truth. Dave Barfield writes versatile songs from his Okalahoma roots to corporate corruption.
 
Maranda    Acoustic, Folk/Rock = The core of this band is a trio of vocalizing singer, songwriters which sometimes has additional players to enhance live shows… Three voices blending and creating moments in time with totally relatable lyrical content.
 
Naomi    Folk = This is a specialty act with songwriting aimed at the avian world creating awareness about the wonders of the bird world … The birds, the owners, the habitats and much more … this is done through a soothing voice and eclectic instrumentation. Naomi also writes children stories set to smooth lullabies. We have released Naomi's first CD "Freeflying Dreams" now available at http://cdbaby.com/cd/naomi
 
Steve Metzger    Traditional & Cross-over Country = Steve is an incredible songwriter & musician … after playing the touring scene in earlier years Steve is still writing and playing mostly in the California area and is one of our biggest published songwriters. He brings an incredible mixture of Country/Story telling lyrics mixed with the haunting melodies of old western influences. Talk about cross-over...
 
Dan Helser    Pop/Folk = Dan is a singer songwriter who is rekindling his passion for music by once again playing and writing his songs through his life experiences for his own enjoyment as well as his adorning fans.
 
Billy Leach    Blues/Rock = Billy Leach Plays a screaming blues guitar … slide, acoustic and electric. His style has the groove of SRV and his vocals are rich so along with catchy melodies and hooks he blends the sounds of old and new blues with a taste of country roots.
 
The Curse of Western Culture    Industrial, Heavy/Rock = A combination of sequencing, thick guitars, old school melodies, Pink Floydish supporting vocals and mind melting lyrics that tend to relate to the consciousness of the future of mankind! On stage this band has more energy than two cats in a dark alley!
